The Pilgrim's EgressA Star and a Vision Revisited |
|

Thad and Anne continued their walk west. They walked and talked, occasionally left the path to the right or to the left. One night Anne took Thad off the path to the right and pointed at the sky. "Look Thad, I have give you a star." she said. Thad woke up feeling very tired and very run down. Anne once again was the picture of health. Thad forced himself up and, with Anne, continued the walk west. Beside the path they came upon a large stone church. Thad thought it looked somehow familiar, so he walked up the steps and peeked in the door. It was the same as the vision he had in the first candlestick. He could see a much younger him sitting in the church with angelic beings floating around and through him. One of the angels glided up to Thad as he watched the scene.
"Go to Aldersgate." it seemed to say, although it's lips had not moved.
Thad backed away from the church. "Come Anne." Thad exclaimed "We're going to Aldersgate." |
