My Poems - 1990

Asking You to End this False Romance

You brought me happiness
when I was suicidal
You brought me sweet caress
when my pain was colosal
You lifted me so high
I thought I'd never come down
I reached and touched the sky
now I'm lying on the ground.

I'm making myself sad
with the thought of hurting you
I feel I'm going mad
I don't know what's really true.
I know I can't love now
So though my lust's unfulfilled
Leave me, I don't know how
to leave without tears being spilled.

I'm facing pain in a deadly stance
by asking you to end this falce romance
