My Poems - 1989

To Show You, I Love You

I know I've loved you
from the moment I saw you
because I've been so depressed
since the moment I met you

but I'll still do anything
to show you that I love you
I'd pluck my eyelashes out
with a used Epi-lady
-Just to show you, I love you

I remember that time we kissed
with our lips and with out teeth
and with our tongues entwining
I know this had to be sick

but I'll still do anything
to show you that I love you
I would have sliced my ears off
with a rusty meat grinder
-Just to show you, I love you

I have wanted to hold you
every instant I'm depressed
which for me means all the time
loving you makes me depressed

but I'll still do anything
to show you that I love you
I would scratch my cornea
with a dead, diseased rose thorn
-To hear you say "I love you."
